Update for 4th week of August

One of the amazing features at Twains Vineyard is the abundance of wildlife.  We are surrounded by animals large and small.  We regularly see many species of birds ranging from Golden Eagles to Hummingbirds.  Larger animals including deer, wild hogs  and even black bear have been seen and photographed from our hills and forest lands.

See the photos below of the, extremely rare, White Ruby Throat Hummingbird.  This bird has visited our feeders along with hundreds of its relatives for the last 3 weeks.

Soon you  can come and experience the soothing High Ozark’s.  I am often overtaken by the peace and tranquility  of our hilltop.  Many times the lazy motion of the porch swing has got the best of me.  See photo below.
